Mindful Learning Center is having an OPEN HOUSE!!! Come take a peek to to see what we will be offering for the 2013-14 school year!

Join us FRIDAY, AUGUST 23rd at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 239 Frank Street in Council Bluffs from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Please enter through the East side of church where you will find two wooden doors. We will have signs to direct you. Spread the word, bring a friend, and hope to see you there!

First 'Swap Shop' is September 27

Start saving your unwanted items now!

Once a month, members have a chance to 'swap' goods at the Swap Shop for FREE.
There will be no items 'sold' at the Swap Shop, and no money exchanged. 

You most likely have items that you 'get rid of' or 'donate' each month. 
Why not share those items with Mindful members before passing them onto area shelters? 

Just a suggestion... keep a reusable grocery bag in your pantry or hall closet.
Throughout the month, fill it up with items you would normally donate and bring
them to the Swap Shop instead!

This is a great way to share homeschool curriculum, books, toys, puzzles, games, household items, clothing, baby items, etc. 

Simply bring items you no longer use, and take items you think you can use.

Leftover items will be donated to area shelters and/or charities.

Swap Shop will begin at 9:00 a.m. (30 minutes before co-op) and run until 12:15.

Field Trip to Vala's Pumpkin Patch

Mindful Learning Center will be heading out to Vala's Pumpkin Patch this fall!
Included with each paid child's admission: a hayrack ride, one smaller sized pumpkin, a ticket to ride the train, and access to many of the activities and shows on the farm.

On the day of the field trip, please call or text Lisa at 402-981-6907 if you can’t make it. This way we won’t be waiting at the entrance for those who are not able to make it.

Welcome to the Mindful Learning Center!

We are just getting started!  
This is our first year of operation, so you will notice that our Calendar looks a little bare.
We are working hard to get some events posted and classes scheduled!

There are no application fees.  Approved members will be asked to pay an 

annual fee when registering for activities/classes/events.
